We are in immediate need of filling a full time Accounting Position in our corporate office in Kalkaska, Michigan.
Role and Responsibilities
Research account discrepancies utilizing critical thinking skills.
Resolve discrepancies by submitting requests for corrections & following through until the customer account is correct.
Interact with customers to resolve discrepancies on accounts.
Reconcile bank statements.
Maintain G/L accounts, A/R, A/P and journal entries.
Familiar with Per Diem reimbursements and Comp Data procedures.
Verify that reports tie back to daily bank deposits.
Review accounts with credit balances to determine if account maintenance is needed.
Enter invoices from vendors accurately, matching to purchase order log.
Process credit card payments for balances due & reconciles monthly credit card statements.
Accounting: 3 years (Required).
G/L accounts, A/R, A/P, journal entries and accounting practices experience (Required).
